    Start by buying the mission here on our website. Within a minute you will get a link on SMS and via email to our PartyAdmin. This gives you instant access to log in and get started with setting up the mission and party.

  • Enter the party information

    When logged in to your PartyAdmin you start by filling out the information in "Party information". The info needed is when and where the party is, etc. You can choose an exact address or a nearby park.

  • Add the guests

    All you need to add guests is the name and phone number of the guest (if they have their own phone) and their parents phone number. Don't forget to add your own children or other hosts so they also will be able to participate in the mission.

  • Place the question sites

    The Google map is already zoomed in on the address or location you selected in previous step, so it's super easy to place the pins where you want each question.

  • Send the invitations

    With just a click, all invitations are sent to the guest and their parents via SMS. Both the invited child and their parent will get the invitation, which reduces the risk of someone not getting the invitation. The parent is the one responsible to send the RSVP.

  • Select the Teams

    Team selections is easily done by dragging-and-dropping the names in our PartyAdmin. Our system will suggest a suitable number of teams depending on how many guests are attending, which is usually the best solution.

How does the "money-back guarantee" work?

Our money-back guarantee is very simple since we only want super happy customers and children. This means that if you, for any reason, are not 100% satisfied with the mission, we will refund the entire cost to you. The only thing we want in return, is that you tell us what you were not happy with, so that we have the opportunity to improve our service.

Time

How long does a mission take?

You should expect it to take about 1 hour +- 15 minutes depending on age, etc. For the slightly younger children, there are fewer questions, so it usually takes about 45 minutes, but it also depends on how large an area the questions are placed in. The party missions that are indoors with QR codes are of course faster to play as there is a shorter distance between the questions.

How long is the mission valid after I have bought it?

Normally, a mission is valid for 14 months from the date of purchase. The idea is that if you have planned a party but have to cancel it due to illness or for any other reasons, we want you to be able to use it the next year instead.

When should I send the invitations?

We usually suggest 2-3 weeks before the party. That way you have enough time to remind those who forget to RSVP etc. But if you have less time than that, it usually works just as well. Just remember that you will have to remind all the guests to RSVP, install the app, and so on.

When can I switch between the GPS and QR-code versions?

You can switch between the GPS and QR-code versions of the mission as close as one minute (If there is a sudden change of weather etc.) but keep in mind that it is important that you have the time and opportunity to print the QR codes, cut them out and set them up. Our suggestion is to do it a reasonable time beforehand to avoid chaos during the party :)

Locations

Best location for the party?

The party and the mission don't have to be at the same location. You can host the party anywhere, at home or in in the nearest park or in any other place.

But of course, it is a always a good idea to not host the party to far from where you have placed the location of the mission.

Best location for the mission?

You can play the missions outdoors or indoors. All missions can be played in two versions.

The preferred alternative, and the most fun, is with GPS positions outdoors (which you place on a map in PartyAdmin). The suggested location is the nearest park. The question sites need to be spaced out by at least 30 meters, and it’s therefore not recommended to choose your own garden unless it’s very large :)

The other alternative is indoors or in the garden with QR-codes. It contains exactly the same questions as the GPS alternative, but you need to print it out on paper, cut them out, and put them up before the party starts.

But not all weather is suitable for being outdoors. Especially not with a mobile phone in hand :) So if it is mid-winter or heavy rain, play indoors with QR codes.

You can switch between the GPS and QR-code versions as close to the party as possible (if there is a sudden change of weather), but remember to have plenty of time to print out and put up the questions.

Age

What age is suitable?

Our missions are available in three different age groups:

8-10 years
10-12 years
12-14 years

If there is a mix of ages or the host is between two age groups, we recommend you choose the older age group. It may take a little longer, but it’s more fun when it’s not too easy.

Players

How many players can play at the same time?

It is possible to play with 2 to 36 players. Preferably at least 3 people per team. In addition, it is of course possible to set up several "parties" at the same time. For example, that every class in a school is a "party".

Why isn't it cheaper if we are fewer players?

We have chosen to have the same price regardless of whether you are 2 or 36 players. There are a number of reasons for that. First, the missions are much more fun if each player has a phone, which probably wouldn't be the case if we charged per player. Second, there would be a lot more administration for both you as a customer and for us to keep fixing back and forth if the number of participants changes. Which it always does at parties ;)

Phones

Do all children need a phone to participate?

It is preferable if all players in a team have a phone. The responsibility for answering the questions is rotated between the players in the team, so that the responsibility is shared equally between all players. The foundation of Pin Agent is collaboration, so it's more fun when everyone can participate. It is of course possible to participate without a phone, but the risk is that you will not feel as involved. It is usually possible to solve the problem of a player not having a phone. Easiest by borrowing a phone from, for example, a parent or taking an old phone lying around. Just make sure you have surf so you can play.

A task usually takes about 100-300MB, so there is no need for large amounts of surfi.

What type of phone does the children need?

The app is available for both iPhone (App Store) and Android (Google Play Store). In order to download the app and play, the phone must be at least Android 7.0 or later (For example, Samsung 6) or Apple's iOS 13 or later (iPhone 6S or later)

Can you use an ipad or tablet instead?

Unfortunately that's not possible. It is very unusual for ipads/tablets to have both sim/surf and GPS, so we have chosen to limit that possibility to reduce the risk of technical problems.

Languages

In which language are the missions?

All missions we sell on pinagent.com are entirely in English. The agent boss in the missions speaks English in all clips. All questions are in English and everything in the app, like the agent handbook etc, is in English. We hope to be able to offer other languages in the not to distant future.

How to fix if something goes wrong?

99% of all errors in the app are solved by simply closing and restarting the app. Please tell all the children that before they go on their mission, you will avoid trouble on the way. Should there be an error that cannot be resolved in that way, we would be very grateful if you could tell us how it happened, so that our developers can resolve it. The easiest way to reach us is in the web chat here on the website.
